What is ALCAP system?
ALCAP system can purify high density residual fuel. Its flow control disc eliminates the need of gravity disc. As it does not have gravity disc the changing of gravity disc with different density of fuel is not required. It detects water in oil side by a transducer (WMS-water monitoring sensor), can carry out water discharge. For total discharge (sludge along with water) one pressure sensor (SMS-sludge monitoring sensor) is fitted which sense the pressure at recirculation line. In case of sludge accumulation, the recirculation pressure will be low, which initiate total discharge through PLC control.
